THE CLUB'S PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE ORNITHOLOGY, TO ENCOURAGE AQUAINTANCE AND DISCUSSION AMONG ITS MEMBERS, TO FOSTER AND UPHOLD SCIENTIFIC METHODS AND STANDARDS OF ACCURACY, AND TO PUBLISH MEMOIRS, JOURNALS, AND OTHER PAPERS ON ORNITHOLOGICAL SUBJECTS.
