THE COUNCIL'S MISSION IS TO CONNECT VETERANS AND THE COMMUNITIES. THE OAHU VETERANS COUNCIL (OVC) IS AN ORGANIZATION COMPROMISED OF REPRESENTATIVES FROM ALL VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS ON ISLAND OF OAHU, WHO MEET MONTHLY FOR MUTUAL BENEFIT. OVC EXISTS TO: ADVOCATE FOR VETERANS RIGHTS AND BENEFITS; PRESERVE THE MEMORY AND PRIDE OF THOSE WHO SERVED IN THE US ARMED FORCES, HONOR THE SACRIFICIES OF OUR VETERANS, PROMOTE AND FOSTER UNDERSTANDING AND UNITY AMONGST VETERANS, CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.
