The Omowale Project is a transformative organization dedicated to fostering repair, wholeness, and systemic change within social justice movements. We recognize that those leading the charge for equity and justice often bear the weight of generational trauma, systemic oppression, and personal sacrifices. Our project is committed to providing these leaders with the tools, support, and community they need to heal, thrive, and sustain their impactful work. Rooted in the rich legacy of Black liberation movements and informed by lived experience, The Omowale Project operates at the intersection of personal healing and systemic transformation. We address the profound impacts of incarceration, racial injustice, and structural inequities by empowering those directly affected to lead change from a place of wholeness and strength.
