ORGANIZING EMPOWERMENT FUND (OEF) IS ORGANIZED TO ENCOURAGE EVERYDAY PEOPLE ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO BECOME MORE CIVICALLY ENGAGED, THAT IS, BECOME MORE INVOLVED IN THE ACTIVITIES AND DECISIONS MADE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES THAT ADDRESS SOCIAL ISSUES AND PROMOTE QUALITY OF LIFE. OEF PROVIDES SUPPORT TO ORGANIZATIONS, AND WORKS WITH THEM TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT RELATIONAL ORGANIZING PLANS THAT FIT INTO THEIR LARGER MISSION, AS WELL AS PROVIDE THEM WITH THE TRAINING THEY NEED TO DEVELOP AND APPLY CORE SKILLS IN THEIR VOLUNTEERS.
