ourBRIDGE is dedicated to supporting the education, acculturation, and well-being of immigrant and refugee children and their families as they adjust to a new life in the United States. ourBRIDGE offers high-quality afterschool and summer programs focused on their English acquisition, socio-emotional well-being, and cultural appreciation. Our curriculum is based on experiential, hands-on learning specifically designed for ELL (English Language Learners) children. Our programs are healing-centered and culturally responsive. In 2021-2022, we welcomed over 170 children in K-8th grade who represent over 20 countries. Our staff is 80%+ BIPOC, refugee, immigrant, and 1st generation American. We provide transportation and translation services to families and schools when needed.
