THE ASSOCIATION'S MISSION IS TO AROUSE AND FOSTER A WIDE PUBLIC APPRECIATION OF THE SCENIC AND HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF THE NATURAL TERRAIN. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO ENCOURAGES THE STUDY OF THE FLORA, FAUNA, AND GEOLOGIC FORMATIONS OF THE AREA.
