THE PALM BEACH COUNTY PARTNERSHIP FOR AGING MISSION IS TO BE THE PROACTIVE VOICE OF CONSENSUS TO MOBILIZE LOCAL LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES TO ENSURE THE OPTIMUM QUALITY OF LIFE FOR OUR AGING POPULATION. THE ORGANIZATIONS PURPOSE IS TO FUNCTION AS A COMMON MEETING GROUND FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS, PROFESSIONALS AND OTHERS INTERESTED IN THE FIELD OF AGING IN ORDER TO: PROVIDE A FORUM TO PROMOTE NETWORKING FOSTER THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW AND CREATIVE IDEAS WHICH WILL ENHANCE THE DELIVERY AND COORDINATION OF SERVICES TO THE ELDERLY ADVOCATE ON ISSUES AFFECTING OLDER PERSONS PROVIDE INFORMATION AND EDUCATION ON ISSUES CONCERNING OLDER ADULTS PROMOTE THE INDEPENDENCE, DIGNITY, HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF OLDER PERSONS THESE GOALS ARE ACHIEVED THROUGH EDUCATIONAL FORUMS, SEMINARS, AND CONFERENCES WHICH INFORM THE PUBLIC, AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD.
