THE PURPOSE OF THE PLAINFIELD ATHLETIC CLUB INC. (PAC) IS TO PROVIDE AND PROMOTE A QUALITY BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL RPOGRAM FOR THE RESIDENTS OF PLAINFIELD ILLINOIS AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. THE PURPOSE IS ALSO TO HELP CHILDREN DEVELOP BASEBALL/SOFTBALL SKILLS AND LEARN GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP. THE INTENT OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO ALLOW AS MANY YOUTH AS POSSIBLE TO PARTICIPATE. THE CLUB CONDUCTS BOTH A SPRING/SUMMER LEAGUE AND A FALL LEAGUE. PAC IS ALSO INVOLVED IN SPONSORSHIP OF A TRAVEL BASEBALL/SOFTBALL PROGRAM, WHICH COMPETES WITH TEAMS FROM OTHER COMMUNITIES, ETHNIC BACKGROUNDS, AND TEACHES VALUABLE LESSONS IN SPORTSMANSHIP. PLAINFIELD IS A GROWING COMMUNITY AND THE PAC CONTINUES TO GROW ALONG WITH THE COMMUNITY, AND IS SERVING INCREASING NUMBERS OF PARTICIPANTS EACH YEAR.
