Project Fighting Chance is an after-school youth mentoring program that started in 1999 in the low-income community of San Bernardino. It uses sports to steer youth away from antisocial behavior and toward the organized sport of amateur boxing. It has a comprehensive program that offers athletics healthy eating vocational training education and counseling to help them succeed in school and in life.
