THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROANOKE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA IS TO AFFORD THE CITIZENS OF ROANOKE, VA AND SURROUNDING AREAS OPPORTUNITIES FOR MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT AND TO OFFER ASSISTANCE AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO YOUNG PERSONS STUDYING MUSIC.
