THE MISSION OF THE HAAN MUSEUM OF INDIANA ART IS TO PRESERVE AND SHARE THE BEST OF INDIANA ARTS AND THE HISTORIC MUSEUM PROPERTY; TO BROADEN PUBLIC AWARENESS OF INDIANA ARTS, AMERICAN FURNITURE, AND CLASSICAL ARCHITECTURE THROUGH EXHIBITIONS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS; INSTILL A SENSE OF PRIDE IN OUR HOOSIER CULTURAL HERITAGE; AND BE REGIONALLY RECOGNIZED AS AN AUTHORITY AND RESOURCE ON THESE TOPICS.
