THE RISING STARS ACADEMY IS A PUBLIC SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS AGES 18- 26 WITH SPECIAL NEEDS PROVIDING A UNIQUE CURRICULUM, WITH AN EMPHASIS IN CULINARY ARTS AND FOOD SERVICE THAT PROMOTES EDUCATION, HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL GROWTH TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR FUTURE GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT IN THE CULINARY ARTS AND OTHER FIELDS. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTS AND PROVIDES JOB SKILL TRAINING SERVICES AND PROGRAMS FOR INDIVIDUALS AGES 26 AND OLDER WHO HAVE PHYSICAL, SOCIAL OR COGNITIVE LIMITATIONS IN ORDER TO DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS TO LEAD TO A LIFE AS PRODUCTIVE AND SELF-FULFILLING AS THEIR CONDITION WILL ALLOW.
