SALT & LIGHT COALITION IS A GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT THATN MOBILIZES INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS TO EMPOWER TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS TO HEAL AND THRIVE THROUGH WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT. WITH 25,000 WOMEN AND GIRLS FALLING PREY TO TRAFFICKIN EVERY YEAR IN CHICAGO ALONE, WE HELP YOUNG WOMEN THAT HAVE FALLEN PREY TO SEXUAL EXPLOITATION TO RECLAIM THEIR BODIES, RECLAIM THEIR CONFIDENT, AND FIND THEIR PASSION. WE ACCOMPLISH THIS GREAT WORK THROUGH OUR VOLUNTEER-DRIVEN, YEAR-LONG PROGRAM THAT FOCUSES ON HEALING AND EQUIPPING WOMEN TO GET JOBS.
