The San Diego Sports Association was incorporated under the laws of the State of California in 1960, as a not-for-profit corporation. The Sports Associations mission is to celebrate and support local athletic achievement and youth development through sports. The Sports Association is dedicated to creating strategic and meaningful opportunities to use sports and philanthropy to make a positive impact in San Diego. The organization believes in the positive benefits and unifying power of sports for the development of youth community and business, and in bringing San Diegans together to honor, recognize and promote local athletic achievement.
