Saving Ferals
Mission
It is my mission to continue saving the feral cats otherwise known as stray cats at the Tracy animal shelter. It is also my passion to TNR (trap, neuter and return) as many cats in business parking lots as possible. These are the forgotten ones; however, they all have caretakers. The caretakers provide food and water; however, they need assistance with spay and neuter. What we don't do is we don't do adoptions, we don't foster, we don't take your cats that you feed, we don't relocate a stray or feral cat unless in an extreme case it has become a danger. What we do is educate our community in spay and neuter and the proper way to trap a feral cat. We also educate in the proper way to feed a feral or stray cat. A stray or feral cat can make great pets. They can provide love and comfort in keeping rodents under control. Best of all you can save their life, prior to September 2017, the Tracy Animal Shelter was euthanizing 100% feral or stray cats that are not adoptable.
