SHEPHERD CENTER FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO SUPPORT SHEPHERD CENTER BY EXPANDING COMMUNITY AWARENESS, SECURING PRIVATE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR PATIENT SERVICES, AND ENCOURAGING VOLUNTEER INVOLVEMENT. THE MISSION STATEMENT IS CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O.SHEPHERD CENTER IS THE NATION'S LARGEST NONPROFIT HOSPITAL DEVOTED TO RESEARCH, MEDICAL CARE, AND REHABILITATION FOR PEOPLE WITH SPINAL CORD INJURY, ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURY, MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, AND CHRONIC PAIN.
