To represent the common business and public policy interests of the computer software and digital content industries. See Schedule O for continuation.The industry markets its products through several delivery vehicles, including the internet, private and public networks, cable, wireless, and satellite transmission. The industry operates in a borderless world and therefore must serve an international constituency. The code and content industry segments share public policy objectives in strong intellectual property protection, a favorable tax and electronic commerce environment, and a favorable investment climate.
