The South Carolina Witness Project has in the past, currently and will in the future provide education that raises awareness about breast and cervical cancer. We also provide community workshops and presentations that teach women about breast and cervical cancer risks and prevention; and maintain a website that contains educational materials regarding the same. During the education presentations, we have in the past, currently and will continue to help increase participation in breast and cervical cancer screenings; build and maintain partnerships with community health clinics to whom we have and will continue to refer the women to who need the screenings; and to facilitate breast and cervical cancer screening scheduling among the women who participate in the community workshops. We advanced our overall mission of increasing mental health and resource awareness in four targeted SC counties.
