To promote the highest quality, evidence-based, specialty care for patients with rheumatology diseases. To provide rheumatologists with the latest and unsurpassed education in the practice of rheumatology. To educate physician members on the topics most relevant to the practicing rheumatologist through an annual CME (Continuing Medical Education) conference. The organization, through electronic communication and printed materials, provides up-to-date information regarding rheumatic diseases and current therapies to rheumatologists, patients, and the health-care community while promoting the advancement of the specialty of rheumatology in Texas.
