SSC WILL PROMOTE AND SUPPORT INNOVATION, TECHNOLOGY, RESEARCH AND THE COMMERCIALIZATION OF NEW AND EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES THROUGH COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS WITH INDUSTRY, EDUCATION, MILITARY, AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS ACROSS MULTIPLE ADVANCED INDUSTRY SECTORS. THE CORPORATION'S OVERARCHING PURPOSE IS TO SERVE A PLATFORM THAT BRINGS TOGETHER THE GOVERNMENT, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, AND INDUSTRY TO COLLABORATE ON TECHNOLOGY INNOVATIONS/MATURATION AND TO CREATE PRODUCTS FOR THE MARKET AND PROVIDE SKILL TRAINING IN NEW TECHNOLOGIES.
