WE ARE THE ONLY THEATER IN FORT WORTH THAT SPECIALIZES IN CLASSICAL THEATER. THERE IS NO OTHER PLACE FOR ACTORS, ARTISANS, DESIGNERS, AND TECHNICIANS TO WORK ON SHAKESPEARE AND OTHER CLASSICS PERFORMED AND DESIGNED AT OUR LEVEL OF EXCELLENCE. OUR PROGRAMMING IS INCREDIBLY UNIQUE. ADDITIONALLY, WE WILL HOST FORT WORTHS ONLY TEEN SHAKESPEARE COMPETITION AND SHAKESPEARE CAMP AND GIVE 7 FULL SCHOLARSHIPS. MANY STUDENTS HAVE USED THIS OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE THEIR FIRST STEPS ON A REAL STAGE AND HEARING THEM INTERPRET TEXT THAT HAS BEEN BOTH TIMELESS AND RELEVANT FOR OVER 400 YEARS WAS INSPIRATIONAL. OUR LOW PRICE POINT ALSO SETS US APART FROM OTHER THEATERS IN FORT WORTH BECAUSE OUR PROGRAMMING IS SOMETHING THAT MOST INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES CAN AFFORD. WE HAVE, QUITE POSSIBLY, THE LOWEST THEATER TICKET PRICES IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH. THIS IS INTENTIONAL TO KEEP CLASSICAL THEATER ACCESSIBLE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO ATTEND.
