THE TEXAS MEDICAL ASSOCIATION (TMA), THE NATION'S LARGEST AND ONE OF THE OLDEST STATE MEDICAL SOCIETIES, REPRESENTS OVER 59,000 PHYSICIANS AND MEDICAL STUDENTS DEDICATED TO ENHANCING THE HEALTH OF ALL TEXANS. IN COLLABORATION WITH 110 COUNTY MEDICAL SOCIETIES, TMA PHYSICIANS HAVE UPHELD HIGH PROFESSIONAL AND ETHICAL STANDARDS SINCE 1853. TMA'S VISION IS TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF ALL TEXANS, AND ITS MISSION IS TO EMPOWER TEXAS PHYSICIANS IN THE PRACTICE OF MEDICINE.
