Mission

The purposes for which the Corporation is organized are to support sound economic, fiscal and public policy in Texas, to develop a sound and equitable revenue and expenditure program for the State of Texas, to communicate that program to the public, and to support its effective presentation to the Legislature and the Executive and Administrative Departments of this State. Recognizing that various trade associations and businesses are involved in numerous issues before the Legislative and Executive Branches, the Corporation will limit its involvement in governmental matters only to those related to taxes and spending at the State budget level, to the end that the Corporation will represent the broad views of Texans believing in fiscal responsibility and economy in government and will not represent the interests of any one industry group, association, or profession.
