THE SOCIETY WAS FORMED TO ENCOURAGE THE STUDY OF BREAST SURGERY, TO PROMOTE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF ADVANCED SURGICAL TECHNIQUES, TO IMPROVE STANDARDS OF PRACTICE FOR BREAST SURGERY IN THE UNITED STATES, AND SERVE AS A FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS.
