THE ARTS CLUB OF CHICAGO WAS FORMED AS A MEANS TO ENCOURAGE, FOSTER, AND DEVELOP HIGHER STANDARDS OF ARTS CRAFTSMANSHIP, AND TO MAINTAIN THE CITY OF CHICAGO FACILITY FOR THE HOUSING OF GALLERIES AND EXHIBITIONS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND FREE OF CHARGE.
