THE CORRAL RIDING ACADEMY, INC. IS AN AFTER-SCHOOL AND SATURDAY PROGRAM FOR AT-RISK TEENAGE GIRLS IN WAKE COUNTY. CORRAL PAIRS THESE TEENS WITH RESCUED HORSES TO PROMOTE HEALING, TRANSFORMATIONAL GROWTH AND LASTING LIFE CHANGE. THE HORSE-BASED PROGRAM PROVIDES (I) MENTORSHIP, (II) TUTORING, (III) VOCATIONAL TRAINING, (IV) HORSEMANSHIP TRAINING AND (V) EQUINE-ASSISTED LEARNING (EAL) TO 40+ GIRLS AND THEIR FAMILIES EACH YEAR.
