ROTARY IS AN INTERNATIONAL CIVIC ORGANIZATION. THE OBJECT OF ROTARY IS TO ENCOURAGE AND FOSTER THE IDEAL OF SERVICE AS A BASIS OF WORTHY ENTERPRISE AND, IN PARTICULAR, TO ENCOURAGE AND FOSTER: FIRST: THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACQUAINTANCE AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR SERVICE.
