TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE THE GROWTH OF CULTURAL INTEREST AND ACTIVITY IN THE ARTS. TO EXTEND THE PARTICIPATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF THE THEATRICAL ARTS AND CRAFTS BY MEANS OF DEVELOPING AND PROMOTING A CHILDREN'S THEATRE; ASSIST IN THE STIMULATION OF INTEREST IN THE THEATRE ARTS IN THE SCHOOLS; PROVIDING MEANS AND FACILITIES BY WHICH THE YOUTH OF THE AREA CAN LEARN ALL OF THE ELEMENTS OF THEATRICAL PRODUCTION INCLUDING WRITING, MUSICAL COMPOSITION, CHOREOGRAPHY, SET DESIGN, STAGING, LIGHTING, COSTUME, MAKEUP, PERFORMING, AND DIRECTING; AND PRODUCING PLAYS, MUSIC- DRAMA, AND OTHER PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS WHEREBY THE YOUNG PARTICIPANTS MAY EXERCISE, MEASURE, AND EXHIBIT THEIR ARTISTIC AND TECHNICAL SKILLS AND TALENTS PUBLICLY.
