PROVIDE INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS A PROPER ROLE IN EDUCATION, TO ORGANIZE, CONTROL AND SUPERVISE INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS AMONG THE INSTITUTIONS OF THE CONFERENCE AND TO ESTABLISH STANDARDS AND PROMOTE SCHOLARSHIP AND SPORTSMANSHIP AMONG THE CONFERENCE MEMBERS.
