THE PURPOSE OF THE NEW CENTER FOR PSYCHOANALYSIS ('THE CENTER') SHALL BE: (I) TO FOSTER THE STUDY AND ADVANCEMENT OF PSYCHOANALYSIS IN ITS THERAPEUTIC, SCIENTIFIC AND CULTURAL ASPECTS; (II) TO ENCOURAGE PROFESSIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC RELATIONS OF PSYCHOANALYSIS WITH OTHER BRANCHES OF MEDICINE, PSYCHOLOGY AND OTHER DISCIPLINES; (III) TO FURTHER THE INTEGRATION OF PSYCHOANALYSIS IN THE COMMUNITY; (IV) TO MAINTAIN THE STANDARDS OF PRACTICE OF PSYCHOANALYSIS; AND (V) TO TAKE SUCH OTHER ACTIONS AS MAY BE NECESSARY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION SOLICITING OR ACCEPTING DONATIONS, GRANTS OR GIFTS IN THE FURTHERANCE OF THE FOREGOING PURPOSES. THE CENTER MAY OFFER OTHER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GENERAL AIMS AND PURPOSES OF PSYCHOANALYSIS AND MAY GIVE RECOGNITION TO THOSE WHO HAVE MET THE REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS.
