THE PHILLIPS COLLECTION IS THE OLDEST MUSEUM OF MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART IN THE U.S. IN ADDITION TO PRESENTATION OF WORKS FROM THE PERMANENT COLLECTION AND SPECIAL EXHIBITIONS, THE MUSEUM MAINTAINS ACTIVE EDUCATIONAL, ACADEMIC, (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O)AND PUBLIC PROGRAMS, AND NUMEROUS PARTNERSHIPS WITH OTHER D.C.
