THE TESS MAJORS FOUNDATION (THE FOUNDATION) WILL PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES AND ACCESS TO INDIVIDUALS, PARTICULARLY CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS, WITH CURIOSITY AND PASSION IN THE AREAS OF MUSIC, THEATRE, NATURE, ENVIRONMENTALISM, LITERATURE, AND JOURNALISM, ESPECIALLY IN SMALLER COMMUNITIES WHERE ACCESS TO ENRICHMENT IN THESE AREAS IS LIMITED. THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE PROGRAMS AND VENUES THAT FOSTER ACTIVITIES AND EDUCATION IN SMALL COMMUNITIES IN MUSIC, THEATRE, NATURE, ENVIRONMENTALISM, LITERATURE, AND JOURNALISM. THE ACTIVITIES WILL BE CONDUCTED WITHIN THE UNITED STATES, PRIMARILY FROM THE OFFICES IN NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE. DONATIONS WILL BE SOUGHT NATIONWIDE FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC, WHICH WILL GO ENTIRELY TO THE FUNDING OF PROGRAMS AND SPACES THAT EDUCATE, DEVELOP, AND SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS WITH INTEREST IN, AND PURSUING CAREERS IN, THE ARTS, CULTURE, AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES.
