THE WELCOME HOUSE IS A HOME FOR HOPE AND HEALING WHERE WOMEN WITH BARRIERS TO SUCCESSFUL LIVING CAN LEARN TO PUT THEIR PAST BEHIND AND DISCOVER AND CREATE A NEW FUTURE. THE HOME WILL BE LICENSED FOR UP TO TEN WOMEN WHO ARE TRANSITIONING OUT OF TREATMENT PROGRAMS, JAIL, ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS, OR OTHER SITUATIONS THAT PUT THEM AT A GREATER RISK OF HOMELESSNESS. THE WELCOME HOUSE WILL PROVIDE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR OUR RESIDENTS SUCH AS: MENTOR NETWORK, WORK READINESS AND PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE, INDIVIDUALIZED GOAL SETTING, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, LIFE SKILLS, SELF-CARE, COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS, NUTRITION AND COOKING HEALTHY MEALS, INDIVIDUAL ADVOCACY, HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, SPIRITUAL SUPPORT AND POSITIVE PARENTING.
