IN COOPERATION WITH THE GOVENMENT OF FIJI TO PLAN, COORDINATE AND IMPLEMENT THE MARKETING AND PROMOTION OF TOURISM IN FIJI IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN ITS TAX BASE AND STIMULATE AN INCREASE IN FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF ITS EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL INSTITUTIONS AND CREATE INCREASED EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE CITIZENS OF FIJI. THEREBY LESSEN THE BURDENS OF GOVERNMENT OF FIJI AND ACT IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST; TO COLLECT AND RECEIVE CONTRIBUTIONS AND TO DISPOSE OF FUNDS EXCUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES OR OTHERWISE TO ASSIST CORPORATIONS, ORGANIZATIONS OR INSTITUTIONS CARRYING ON SUCH ACTIVIITES AS ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE PURPOSES OF THIS CORPORATION AND TO ENGAGE IN ANY OTHER LAWFUL ACTIVITIES PERMITTED UNDER THE CALIFORNIA NONPROFIT PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION LAW.
