THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO OBTAIN ALL THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES TO WHICH ITS MEMBERS ARE ENTITLED, RAISE THE STANDARDS OF THE TEACHING PROFESSIONAL AND PROVIDE BETTER EDUCATION FOR THE STUDENTS BY REPRESENTING ITS MEMBERSHIP THROUGH COLLECTIVE BARGAINING WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS.
