PILOTS HIRED AFTER JANUARY 1, 2005 AND PRIOR TO APRIL 1, 2014 BECAME ELIGIBLE FOR DISABILITY BENEFITS UNDER THE PLAN AFTER ONE YEAR OF SERVICE. ANY LEGACY US AIRWAYS PILOT WITH AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF DISABILITY OF APRIL 1, 2014 AND AFTER WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR BENEFITS UNDER THE AMERICAN AIRLINES, INC. 2012 PILOT LONG-TERM DISABILITY PLAN AND IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR BENEFITS UNDER THE PLAN.
