Specifically, its aims and objectives are: promote environment friendly, socially just and sustainable models of development; empower and carry the voices and struggles of community groups from the fast developing economies to ensure a transparent and participatory process in global policy making; provide technical support to communities and groups in developing economies for sustainable and low carbon paths.
