THE FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF EYE CARE AND THE PREVENTION OF BLINDNESS. THE FOUNDATION CONDUCTS AND PROMOTES BASIC LABORATORY RESEARCH AND TRAINING TO INDIVIDUALS ENGAGED IN A CAREER IN THE VISUAL SCIENCES. CLINICAL CONCERNS INCLUDE PROVIDNG MEDICAL AND SURGICAL EYE CARE TO NEEDY OR UNINSURED INDIVIDUALS.
