THE MISSION OF THE WASHINGTON COUNTY AGRICULTURAL FAIR IS TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF AGRICULTURE, HORTICULTURE, HOMEMAKING SUBJECTS AND ARTS, SCIENCES, AND ALL KINDRED ARTS; TO PROMOTE 4-H CLUB WORK AND THE FFA ACTIVITIES AND OTHER TYPES OF EDUCATIONAL WORK; TO CREATE CLOSER COORDINATION BETWEEN AGRICULTURE, BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY IN THE AREA AND TO DEVELOP INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL PARTICIPATION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE EXHIBITS; AND TO DO ALL SUCH THINGS AS MAY BE USEFUL, NECESSARY OR CONVENIENT FOR THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE FOREGOING OBJECTIVES.
