THE WILL COUNTY GOVERNMENTAL LEAGUE IS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING A MEANS THAT THESE MUNICIPALITIES AND OTHER LOCAL GOVERNMENTS MAY COOPERATE IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST ON ALL MATTERS OF MUTUAL CONCERN. IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THIS OBJECTIVE, THIS ORGANIZATION WILL PROVIDE ITS MEMBERS A MEDIUM THROUGH WHICH THEY MAY JOINTLY STUDY AND SOLVE MUTUAL PROBLEMS AT ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT; AND, WHENEVER DEEMED NECESSARY, SPEAK AS A BODY FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACHIEVING COMMON GOALS. THE WILL COUNTY GOVERNMENTAL LEAGUE WILL ALSO ENSURE THAT ITS MEMBERSHIP HAS A PRESENCE IN THE STATE CAPITOL.
