OUR MISSION IS EMBODIED IN OUR MOTTO--TO PRESERVE THE PAST AND PROMOTE THE FUTURE OF WILSON AND THE REGION. WE DO THIS THROUGH THE WILSON HISTORICAL MUSEUM WHICH OPENED IN 2001. THE MUSEUM FOCUSES ON FOUR AREAS: ARTIFACTS, PICTURES, HISTORICAL LIBRARY AND GENEALOGY LIBRARY.
