THE ADLER APHASIA CENTER IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDE HELP FOR THOSE LIVING WITH APHASIA AND THEIR CAREGIVERS AND TO EXPAND AWARENESS AND KNOWLEDGE OF APHASIA THROUGH COMMUNICATION GROUPS, CAREGIVER PROGRAMS, ADVOCACY AND RESEARCH. THE CENTER IS A THERAPEUTIC PROGRAM, BASED IN MAYWOOD, WITH LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT NEW JERSEY, THAT ADDRESSES THE LONG-TERM NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH APHASIA, A COMMUNICATION DISORDER CAUSED BY STROKE OTHER TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY.
