AAHD IS DEDICATED TO CONTRIBUTE TO NATIONAL, STATE AND LOCAL EFFORTS TO PREVENT HEALTH COMPLICATIONS OR SECONDARY CONDITIONS IN PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, PROMOTE HEALTH AND WELLNESS INITIATIVES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, WHILE REDUCING THE HEALTH DISPARITIES BETWEEN PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND THE GENERAL POPULATION.
