THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR INDUSTRY MEMBERS TO DEVELOP SOLUTIONS TO COMMON PROBLEMS AND TO PROMOTE KNIVES AS TOOLS, EDUCATE INDIVIDUALS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT ON KNIFE ISSUES, AND MONITOR AND PROMOTE REASONABLE AND EFFECTIVE LEGISLATION AND REGULATIONS.
