ESTABLISHED AS THE CHARITABLE AND PHILANTHROPIC ARM OF THE AMERICAN NURSES ASSOCIATION (ANA). THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND RESEARCH THAT ADVANCES THE NURSING PROFESSION AND HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC.
