THE MISSION IS TO ADVANCE THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING AND THE ALLIED ARTS AND SCIENCES BY PROMOTING CLOSE COOPERATION AND EXCHANGE OF TECHNICAL INFORMATION AMOUNG ITS MEMBERS, AFFILIATES AND THE PUBLIC.
