TO SUPPORT THE RESTORATION OF THE ASHTABULA RIVER, AND TO OWN AND OPERATE THE FORMER COAST GUARD STATION LOCATED ON THE EAST BANK OF THE ASHTABULA RIVER ("STATION"). WITH RESPECT TO THE STATION, THE FOUNDATION WILL PRESERVE AND DEVELOP THE PROPERTY FOR (I) PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE ASHTABULA RIVER; (II) A MEMORIAL AND MUSEUM OF THE HISTORY OF THE U.S. COAST GUARD IN ASHTABULA; AND (III) ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ALONG THE ASHTABULA RIVER AND OF THE STATION IN THE FORM OF KAYAK AND PADDLEBOARD RENTAL AND CONCESSION SALES AND SHORT-TERM LODGING IN THE STATION MAIN BUILDING.
