THE PURPOSE OF THE AC IS TO DEVELOP AND MOTIVATE A SENSE OF SELF-CONFIDENCE, INDEPENDENCE, AND PRIDE IN PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS; TO DEVELOP SELF-RELIANCE; TO ENCOURAGE A NETWORK OF SHARING WITH OTHERS; AND TO RECOGNIZE EACH INDIVIDUAL'S ABILITIES AS A PARTICIPATING MEMBER OF SOCIETY.
