THE MISSION OF AURORA CHARTER SCHOOL IS TO OPERATE A CENTER OF LEARNING THAT EMBRACES ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND CELEBRATES THE GIFT OF LATINO CULTURE. AURORA CHARTER SCHOOL WILL BE A HIGH-ACHIEVING LEARNING ENVIRONMENT WHERE THE STUDENT IS NURTURED ACADEMICALLY, SOCIALLY, AND PHYSICALLY. STUDENTS WILL BE HELD TO LEARNING STANDARDS MANDATED BY THE STATE OF MINNESOTA THROUGH A DUAL-LANGUAGE CURRICULUM IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH, AND WITH THE INSTRUCTION OF HIGHLY-QUALIFIED TEACHERS AND OTHER SUPPORT STAFF, WILL STRIVE TO CLOSE THE ACHIEVEMENT GAP WITHIN THE SCHOOL.
