THE AVALON SCHOOL, AN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL FOR BOYS, SEEKING TO CULTIVATE IN IT'S STUDENTS INTELLECTUAL FREEDOM, PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND A SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE IN AN ATMOSPHERE THAT ALLOWS BOYS TO BE BOYS. THE DISTINCTIVE LEARNING CHARACTERISTICS OF YOUNG MEN ARE ADDRESSED BOTH IN AND OUT OF THE CLASSROOM THROUGH A CURRICULUM STEEPED IN THE HUMANITIES.
